Welcome! I’m Kylie.

I offer psychotherapy sessions online and in person, providing a space of warmth, safety and acceptance in which to gently explore challenging feelings, thoughts and experiences.

I’m passionate about bringing awareness and clarity to patterns and beliefs as a path to empowerment, ease and emotional freedom.

I use a range of evidence-based creative and somatic methods and offer practical strategies for everyday life outside of the therapy space. 

My areas of special interest include: dream exploration as a therapeutic tool; creative blocks; stress; habits and patterns; anger; dementia.

Trauma-informed

I prioritise your sense of safety and empowerment by recognising how your past experiences might still be influencing your nervous system and emotional responses. 

Process-orientated

Guiding you to notice your inner sensory-grounded experience in the present moment brings deeper awareness and empowers you to confidently take the next steps on your personal journey.

Somatic

I help you (re)connect mind and body by paying attention to physical sensations, which allows you to release stored tension and regulate your internal state. 

Creative

I invite imagination and expressive tools into our work to help you tap into deeper insights and communicate what words alone sometimes cannot.

  • Think of our first meeting as a gentle landing. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out or even to know exactly what you want to work on. With compassionate curiosity, we’ll simply begin to explore what’s going on for you and tune in to your body’s wisdom. It’s a space for us to see how we connect.

  • Because my approach is personalised, no two sessions look the same. Beyond just talking, our work is experiential - we might use drawing, movement, or imagination to bring awareness to body sensations and unravel old patterns. Everything is invitational and moves at a pace that feels supportive for you.

  • Your wellbeing and sense of safety is my main concern. We’ll work at your pace and you can share as little or as much as you feel comfortable. 

  • Everyone’s journey is different. Some people find the clarity they need in one or two sessions, while others prefer the consistent support of a long-term therapeutic relationship. Whether you’re looking for a quick "re-set" or deeper work, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

  • A one-hour session costs $120.

  • Currently, psychotherapists are not part of that scheme. However, the benefit is that you don’t need a GP referral to see me - you can book in whenever you’re ready. Also, our sessions will be completely confidential - no details will be recorded on your government health profile or provided to doctors (unless you request it).

    My fee is comparable to the gap between the Medicare rebate and the fee charged by most clinical psychologists (your out-of-pocket expense). If you already have a Mental Health Care Plan, you may choose to share the details with me or not. You’ll need to give me written consent if you’d like me to liaise with your GP.

Creative, Body-based Group Workshops

Short, guided offerings.

Using a gentle experiential approach through drawing, imagination and embodiment practices, I teach nervous system awareness and regulation strategies, while supporting each participant to discover their own unique inner resources.

Delivered online and in person.

No-pressure sessions - everything is invitational and sharing within the group is voluntary.
